History of the Company
Thehistory of the company VOP Dolní Bousov starts with the history of 3 sectionsof former Czechoslovak Army that were situated in the present area of the company.
The first section is connected with the origin of engineer depot
2 in
1947 in
Písek. From Písekit was moved to Dolní Bousov in March 1954. The depot lost the character of an individual section in the beginning of 1995 when it became the 3rdsubsidiary of Central engineer depot in
Olomouc
on the 1st of January. The engineer depot in Dolní Bousov finished its activity in 1997.
Another section operating on the current area of the company VOP Dolní Bousov was the 1stSubsidiary of the Repair base 042. The section was created on the 1stof October 1956 as the 1st circling engineer repair service. On the 1st of July 1989 there was a reorganization of the base to Military repair company 042 (state enterprise) and on the basis of the existing 1stsubsidiary “the plant Dolní Bousov” arose.
The 3rdsection was the 2nd automobile battalion that was created in thesummer of 1945 as an automobile battalion 5. Dolní Bousov started to be the new place of work of the 2nd automobile battalion. Here the sectionunderwent the reorganization in 1978 connected with its incorporation to the newly created 15th automobile regiment with the headquarter in Terezín as its 3rd battalion.
All sections finished its activities in the years of 1992 – 1997.
VOP Dolní Bousov (further on only VOP) arose on the 13th of February1996 on the basis of the record to the Companies Register led by the County Commercial Court in Prague under the registration number 43 110.
Reasonof the company creation was an assumed sale of privatized assets of the state enterprise “Military repair company 042
Olomouc
”.This sale took place in 1998 when a contract between the State Property Fund and VOP Dolní Bousov was signed.
In1998 the change of the name of the company from Military repair company – plantDolní Bousov to Production and repair company Dolní Bousov, Ltd., was carriedout. The following year business shares were bought back and the purchase priceof State Property Fund was paid. In that year VOP Dolní Bousov changed its owners and Josef Turek became the owner and the executive of the company.
