Mobile flood-protection barriers

This mobile flood protection barrier is used to rectify streams and divert storm waves. The flood protection barrier can be built in the heights of 0,5 m, 1 m and 1,5 m. The barrier is very convenient as it needs no substructure and is easily moveable. In case of muddy soil and unavailable mechanization, it can be handled by a few people and erected in any terrain in whatever length. It can further be used to supplement existing barriers.
 

Mobile flood-protection equipment consists of three parts:

1. Fiberglass flood-protection board
The flood protection plate is made of a special glass fiber reinforced plastic which is resistant to extreme temperatures ranging from -30 °C up to +50 °C and chemical effects; the shape and structure are safe and stable. Dimensions of the fiberglass plates are basically available in 3000 x 1450 mm (weight 65 kg) and 3000 x 725 mm (weight 35 kg); however, these plates can be delivered in any dimension. Unless there is mechanical damage, the life of these plates is practically unlimited. High resistance against water pressure stress and mechanical damage is achieved by laminated steel reinforcement, which is calculated for a maximum load. Resistance of the plate to the gradual increase of hydrostatic water pressure is further secured by placing reinforcing ribs on the underside of the plate. A sealing strip is riveted to the bottom section of the plate. It tightens the plate at the point of contact with the ground, eventually leveling any terrain irregularities and preventing water from seeping between the plate and the ground. On the reverse side, the plate is equipped with fabric clamping eyelets on each side for better manipulation with the plate.





2. Supporting construction
The customizable  supporting framework – is welded together from steel profiles [tube, square tube steel and metal plate]. Steel spikes are connected at the bottom of the supporting construction, which protect the framework  against shifting in terrain. The outer sides of the framework construction are fitted with adjustable blocks, which keep the construction straight despite an uneven surface. This construction can be built on soft terrains as well as hard-packed surfaces such as asphalt, pavement and concrete. Whole construction is equipped with zinc dipping.






3. Connecting segment
Connecting segments are made up of a plate, square tube steel, galvanized plate and a rubberized-textile belt. Between bottom and upside part of the plate, a square steel section is welded, which determines the spacing between construction parts. At the same time it also serves for connecting this part of construction. This entire assembly is covered by a rubberized-textile belt over the bottom to a rubberized-textile belt at the flood-boards. The rubberized-textile belt is connected by a galvanized plate, which serves for sealing in the connection. There is also the handling part, which ensures better control of construction. All steel parts of this part are equipped with zinc dipping. The whole construction of the connecting section allows to sealing of connections and protects against seepage of water.





4. Present of the mobile flood-protection barriers
Nowadays the company introduces to the production a new type of glass fibre boards of various measures, with lighter construction but with higher firmness.
